FEEL RECEIVES MEMBERSHIP OF THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF THE AMUSEMENT PARKS AND ATTRACTIONS

The promotion work of the last months of 2009 successfully ended in the tour that the organizing company, 3A Producciones did around the most important trade shows in the United States, such as IAAPA, the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, where there were 24,000 visitors including 14,700 buyers from 108 nations, held in Las Vegas.

A meeting was held in IAAPA stand with the new Executive Director of the Latin American Association, Paulina Reyes, who listened closely to the presentation about the Latin American Entertainment Trade Show, FEEL, and approved the corresponding membership request documents of IAAPA as “Service Suppliers of the Industry.”

Colombia is a country with a privileged geographic position because it is located in the northern corner of the South American continent, allowing easy access of international markets towards Latin America. The country went up 26 places in the Doing Business ranking in only two years, and foreign investment has increased 323% since 2002. The city of Bogota, its capital, has a population of approximately 9,000,000 inhabitants and an excellent infrastructure of services, variety of malls and more than 5,000 urban and suburban parks, with an excellent potential for the sector, commented the Executive Director of FEEL, Lida Maria Roldan, to Mrs. Reyes, who showed very interested in the cooperation offered by the company to meet IAAPA’s  objectives and goals south of the continent, starting from Colombia, the Panamerican corner of the world.

Among the achievements of this important incursion in the United States markets, FEEL’s speakers not only confirmed the existing interest on behalf of entrepreneurs of the United States and Europe in the Latin American market, but they were also able to establish alliances and cooperation agreements with well know trade shows of the sector and specialized media such as SALEX, the Brazilian entertainment trade show, ENADA SPRING, show which will take place this year in Rimini, Italy; INTERPAK, a well know communication means in the United Kingdom, besides the renovation of agreements with other means of this growing sector of the economy.
