BOGOTA CITY HALL AND IDRD, THE DISTRICT INSTITUTE FOR RECREATION AND SPORTS WILL BE SPONSORS FOR THE LATIN AMERICAN ENTERTAINMENT TRADE SHOW, FEEL 2010


An important strategic allegiance was consolidated last Thursday, January 28 between BOGOTA CITY HALL, the DISTRICT INSTITUTE FOR RECREATION AND SPORTS and the LATIN AMERICAN ENTERTAINMENT TRADE SHOW, FEEL 2010. These two entities work together to offer a healthy recreation to more than nine million persons through the preservation of five thousand urban parks and the fitting out of spaces for citizen meetings and pacific coexistence, reason for which they found in FEEL the perfect ally to promote the development of the industry of entertainment and fun, in a city such as Bogota, the capital of Colombia, called the South American Athens” due to its intensive cultural activity.

“We have decided to participate and support the making of the LATIN AMERICAN ENTERTAINMENT TRADE SHOW, FEEL 2010 which will take place in Corferias on April 14 and 15 because we think this is a timely and necessary event for a capital city like ours, where coincidentally with your interest in exploring options for the planning and development of different programs and renewing equipment, the best exponent of equipment and product for amusement parks and passive recreation will be present to offer our population more and better spaces to play their favorite sport or simply to have fun with the family,” expressed Dr. Ana Edurne Camacho, Director of IDRD.

With Bogota City Hall and IDRD as official sponsors of FEEL 2010, we are giving a positive leap in a short but successful path of the Latin American Entertainment Trade Show which only a few months after having its second event, begins to show its institutional high category character with this support and that of first level exhibitors.

Not only great alliances are added to FEEL’s achievement, the organizing team, searching for excellence for the 2010 event, has also focused its efforts in holding an intense electronic promotional marketing campaign. The invitation is directed to possible and potential buyers of technology, equipment and services for recreation among which we find the most popular malls in Latin America, and amusement and theme parks in Colombia and in the Andean Region.

The spaces in pavilion number 1 of the International Business and Exhibition Center, Corferias, will be carefully distributed and adapted to lodge the most selective group of national and international exhibitors that have been adding themselves to what promises to turn into the most important specialized Latin American exhibit in the entertainment sector.
